A refitting of an ancient Notting Hill boozer, the Mall's a dark, country-manor style gastropub filled with reclaimed Victorian furniture and leather banquettes, and outfitted with a hedged-off "secret" garden area. The bar stocks all the usuals, plus 37 varieties of scotch, while food menus include Saturday brunch, Sunday roast, "feasting" options (4-course chicken/suckling pig/fish for up to 14), and daily offerings like whole grilled sea bass and "Cow Pie", which replaces the horns with bone marrow, and the barrel-chested cowboy with the barrel-stomached you.
