Beer-driven Steelers Mayhem: The Blue Palm 6124 Hollywood Blvd; Hollywood; 323.464.2337 Mostly known for an insane beer list (including rotating craftiness from Big Sky, Eagle Rock, and more), this Hollywood bar's totally dedicated to Pittsburgh and former Trojan Troy Polamalu, with specials like $6 pitchers, $3 pints, and just-during-the-game specialty items like ham n' cheese-filled pretzel rolls -- eat too much, and you'll end up with the not-just-during-the-game, ham n' cheese-filled stomach rolls. Pubby Jetsiness: Timmy Nolans 10111 Riverside; Toluca Lake; 818.985.3359 Formerly a Bills joint, this Irish bar's got 6+ flatscreens, 30+ bourbons, burgers/fried grub, and come gametime, a grip of Sanchez-loving NJ transplants that moved in when the former Buffalo business petered out -- much like actual Buffalo! Patriotic Pints: Sonny McLean's 2615 Wilshire Blvd; Santa Monica; 310.449.1811 The SaMo bar that bills itself as "Your Boston Sports Headquarters" serves up bacon/fried potatoes for morning games, is covered in Sox, Celts, and former UCLA wideout Matt Slater's Patriots gear like banners and jerseys, though any mention of the latter might get you bum-rushed by a confused Masshole. Divey Seahawkedness: The Backstage 10400 Culver; Culver City; 310.839.3892 One very enthusiastic Seattle fan's transformed this Sony-adjacent dive into a Blue haven on game days, with the bar serving up a gratis shot each time the team scores called the "Seahawk Breeze" -- just hope none of it ends splattering up on your shoulder. March in with the Saints: Five0Four 6541 Hollywood Blvd; Hollywood; 323.960.0224 This foliage-laden, just-opened, Bush-loving N'awlins spot's run by a couple of displaced Southerners, and is discounting food/booze before and during Saints games, like $4 draughts, $5 daquiris and wells, and $5 jambalaya and gumbo, all under the banner of the "Tailgate Special", which just like the Stargate special, will probably never be enjoyed by any girls.
