PAX Miami

Finally giving you a reason to hang out beneath overpasses is acronym-ally challenged Performing Arts Exchange, which just took up residency in the Miami Herald's former distribution center under I-95. The bohemian "coffee art house" (which also has a full bar, plus a movie screen coming soon) is the brainchild of Transit Lounge's former music scout, who envisions it as an underground haven for both local and national artists to showcase their chops, from black-box theater to bands like Suenalo, Festival of the Drums, and Lanzallamas, also Lorenzo's brother you've never heard of, because he's menos macho.
