If there's one thing a man loves, it's doors. Oh wait. That's actually spelled "pizza". Nevertheless fulfilling all your fanboy door needs: Celebrity Doors.
From a couple dudes who back in college collabed guerrilla art shenanigans like overhauling a campus elevator with all manner of Victorian steampunk-ness (and one of whom eventually became a Playboy photog), CD's a limited-to-16, intended-for-actual-use run of doors they salvaged, then painted with sadly departed celebrities as a commentary on the labels that get applied to them and drive public obsession, which isn't nearly as exclusive as "Stuffy Private School Cool Water". Doors feature each celeb's head with a telling phrase stenciled repeatedly, including Princess Di and "Juicy Tunnel", Swayze and "Dirty Dancing", Sammy Davis Jr./"Glory Punk", and James Dean with "Speed King", a title he lost to every single major league baseball player in the '80s. Further doors see MLK with a "Kill Giant" stencil, Warhol muse Edie Sedgwick getting "$$$ Queen", and Charlie's-era Farrah Fawcett marked with "Fight Angel", although you don't need these guys to tell you that you wanna punch David Boreanaz.
While the run of 16 won't be reproduced, the guys say they'll do commission works with any celeb you like, but not the Noid, who every guy knows you should avoid.
