Right about now, you're probably saying to yourself "Sure, AXE Twist is a miraculous fresh new fragrance that actually changes its scent over time in order to keep girls interested, but what has AXE Twist done for me lately?" Well, for starters, it's bringing you the AXE Twisted Humor comedy tour.
Rolling across nine cities the last two weeks of April and curated by the awesomely terrible human beings at Funny Or Die, the Axe Twisted Humor comedy tour (hereafter, the AXETH) will showcase four of America's most irreverent up-and-comers, none of whose acts depend on having weird hair or playing the accordion. The lineup includes:
Chelsea Peretti: A writer on The Sarah Silverman Program, she's also a regular on truTV's The Smoking Gun Presents, featuring the pathetic bunglers who give crime a bad name, and comedy a good one. Whitney Cummings: A Chelsea Lately mainstay and recent Tonight Show breakout, she killed it at the Comedy Central Roast of Joan Rivers, who's so old...she...see, it's harder than you think.
Donald Glover: The former 30 Rock writer now plays "Troy" on Community, and has really weak arms for a quarterback.
Nick Kroll: Star of FX's The League, but more importantly, played "El Chupacabra" on Reno 911; don't worry, he only sucks the blood of livestock.
