On the list of awesome things to bring to a party, bean dip is usually somewhere near the bottom, along with Natty Light, Pictionary, and that one dude who insists he can play guitar but just keeps murdering the intro to "Jack & Diane". Doing their best to make the legume-y condiment cool, Bean Dip Clothing
Based out of Cape May Court House, BDC's an apparel co. knocking out tees, hoodies, and caps, founded by two guys troubled by the over-abundance of logo-based apparel, whose solution was to go out and create their own logo'd apparel...but base it on bean dip! Their new lineup includes a cap with a boxed-in logo available in black/white, gray, and red/black, along with hoodies emblazoned with BNDP (in gray and black) or with the faux-insignia'd Bean Dip Yacht Club; the grey one's also equipped with a hidden mp3 player pocket and thumb holes in the cuffs, great news for professional thumb wrestlers, which incidentally, is totally real. Super-soft tees include an homage to the (intact) upper half of Kennedy's head, a man in a chair with a quote on mediocrity and genius (with a window blind in front of the whole scene), an abstract interpretation of a cluster of grapes, and an old dude wearing an eye patch inscribed with "I need to get my sh*t together" -- a potential Metamucil campaign, if not for Middle America's noted hatred of eye patches
Bean also runs a street-smart blog covering art made by their buds, hilarious/relevant YouTube clips, and new album drops, and their store also includes a lineup of girl-cut tees for the ladies/guys who want to look they star in the show Life Goes On. Oh yeah.
