The annoyances of owning a car in New York are manifold, from minimal parking options, to crazy gas prices, to getting stuck in so much traffic you'd need Blind Faith to believe you're ever going to find your way home. For a guy without a ride immortalizing those of the people who do, check out EVill Car Blog

EVCB's an East Village-centric photo-catalog of downtown NY "cars with character" accompanied by sometimes pithy, sometimes rambling, often hilarious captions, curated by "Neon", a shutter-happy, auto-lovin' EVill dweller whose logic for starting it was "I don't have a car, so I figured I'd just shoot everyone else's", also the catchphrase of every person on Avenue D. Some gems

A blue, racing-striped Shelby Mustang: carroll shelby: the coolest guy ever with two girl names, besides bill fichtner

A black Trans-Am, complete with painted hood-bird:a.c. green once drove this car, and accidentally got laid

A massive Dodge bus whose grille reads "Old Flat Top":despite his legendary commitment to keeping a low profile to avoid the throngs of rabid fans, the name on the front of this luxury monster clearly reveals it as detlef schrempf's tour bus

Because Neon can't resist snapping hot/ridiculous rides wherever he goes, EVCB's reach extends to not-so-EVill NY 'hoods (from Chelsea to Chinatown), and even other cities including San Diego and Atlanta, where he discovered a fully-branded semi for the gentlemen's club Pink Pony, which unlike Traffic, is full of pleas to get one more song from Mrs. Fantasy.
