You've heard of Mini KISS. You've maybe heard of Dread Zeppelin. But tonight, witness something you never imagined possible: the Manhattan debut of Girls Girls Girls, the world's first all-female Mötley Crüe tribute band
Sounds like a novelty act? Certainly, but it's a novelty act that will melt your face off. Nikita Seis, Vixen Neil, Tawny Lee, and Mistress Mars can rock the full Crüe spectrum, from proto-singles like "Livewire" to fist-pumping last gasps like "Afraid". Just as importantly, they've got the good taste to not rock "In the Beginning", anything from the John Corabi* era, or "All in the Name of...", which is apparently about sleeping with a 15-year-old (who knew?). They're also brazen enough to play the upstairs of a topless go-go bar -- where you can drink during the three opening acts, all of whom made the unfortunate career choice of having penises.
Bonus: $2 gets you a raffle ticket for Nikita Seis' BC Rich Warlock bass, the same model Nikki Sixx played in the 80s, when he wasn't going through one of his "technically dead" phases. Win, and you can finally form your own trib band: Mötley Stü
