No matter your level of eBay savvy -- wizard, ninja, immortal-grand-champion-who-shan't-be-dethroned-by-some-hotshot-punk -- you can't be certain of your skills until they're tested against others'. Giving you a golden opportunity to do just that: eBay's "Let's Make a Daily Deal", live in Times Square June 22-24 from 1-5pm every day.
Hosted by comedic whirlwind Mario Cantone, "Let's Make a Daily Deal" brings the World's Online Marketplace® to life as a game show, which you're encouraged to attend and, if selected from the audience, participate in/dominate. The show's broken down into three challenges -- Daily Deal Derby, Make Your Match, and Price or Pass! -- each of which will test your facility with the sweet science of deep-discount commerce, and your ability to perform in front of others without sweating profusely. On the last day, lucky audience members will compete for a new hybrid, so that when they need to transport all the other cool stuff they've snared online, they won't have to carry it on their e-Back.
Another way to strut your know-how: hit the Reuters billboard (Broadway & 43rd), guess the correct price of the item displayed, and get entered to win a $25 eBay Gift Card. For complete info and event photos, hit the Daily Deal Facebook Event page -- your one exception to the rule, "ninjas don't have friends".
