The Mark

Split between a glowing front bar (yellow-hued wall tiles with jutting lights, retro cow-print banquettes...) and more traditional lounge/dining areas in the rear, this latest addition to the Jean-Georges empire features a raw bar slinging the likes of hamachi sashimi w/ avocado and soy-yuzu dressing, plus globetrotting kitchen bites from black truffle & Fontina pizza, to Maine seafood buckwheat fettuccine w/ chili, to caramelized beef tenderloin w/ Gruyere sauce and herbal spinach, which makes it puzzling that Wimpy was the one who was always broke and jonesing for burgers.
