Applebee’s Is Selling $1 Margaritas

For some, October is all about haunted horrors. For others, it’s a month of apple picking and jumping into piles of crisp leaves. But all of those activities should be immediately abandoned because October is now about one thing and one thing only: dirt cheap Margaritas.

Applebee’s just edged its way into being our favorite chain restaurant by introducing the Dollarita. For the entire month of October, Margaritas will cost just $1 each. There’s no special happy hour. No limit on the number of Margs you can get. And no minimum purchase required. Applebee’s is actually just selling Margaritas on the rocks for a dollar.

The offer is part of the company’s Neighborhood Appreciation Month. “We focus on our food a lot, but ‘bar’ is in our name, and it is an integral part of what makes Applebee’s a great neighborhood destination,” Patrick Kirk, vice president of the brand’s beverage innovation, said in a news release. The company believes that the super cheap Margaritas will bring folks to the bar—and, if the internet’s reaction to this announcement is any indication, they’re not wrong.
