Applebee’s Is Bringing Back the Dollarita for April

Dollaritas are back, baby. Applebee’s is selling $1 Margaritas for the entire month of April, bringing the dollar drink promotion back to where it all started six months ago.

It’s been a wild half year since those early Dollarita heydays. Since the first Dollarita release last October, the Neighborhood Grill and Bar has run month-long promotions of Dollarmamas ($1 Bahama Mamas), Dollar L.I.T.s ($1 Long Island Iced Teas), $2 Blue Moons and $2 Absolut Vodka Lemonades. It’s only fitting that this long, strange trip of endless cheap Applebee’s drinks is now in a simpler and recognizable throwback phase.

“Margaritas are extremely popular with our guests, and our Dollarita is the most refreshing drink money can buy,” Patrick Kirk, vice president of beverage innovation at Applebee’s, said in a statement. “We first introduced the Dollarita to America last October, and we’re excited to bring it back in April as a reason to celebrate the return of spring.”

This being the Dollarita’s second time around, let’s all hope Applebee’s has learned from its mixing mistakes of the past. Dollaritas are now available at all participating Applebee’s, so go live your life like it’s October 2017.
