These Doughnuts Are Filled With Whiskey

Doughnuts are following in coffee’s footsteps and going Irish. Habit Doughnut Dispensary in Denver, Colorado offers liquor-filled doughnuts—cue the Homer Simpson-esque drooling.

Rather than baking the booze into the treats (and cooking out all the delicious alcohol), the shop fills plastic pipettes with liquor and poke them directly into the finished doughnuts—leaving you the option of squeezing the shot into your crueller or directly into your mouth.

At Habit Doughnut Dispensary, whiskey is the default spirit, but customers are welcome to mix and match flavors according to their preferences. Popular combos include a plain doughnut with Fireball, a chocolate-and-espresso doughnut with Kahlúa, and their iconic Jumbleberry doughnut with vodka.
