The "Beer Olympics" Is Coming to Indianapolis

It’s time to brush up on your beer pong accuracy and flip cup skills because a massive, multi-event drinking game competition is going down this May 5—as if Cinco de Mayo and the Kentucky Derby weren’t enough of a reason to day drink.

Indianapolis’ Round Town Brewery is hosting its first-ever Blood, Sweat, and Beers Craft Beer Festival on that epic Saturday in May. Along with unlimited tastings from local breweries and distilleries, the fest will also feature a “Beer Olympics style” competition. Entrants will compete in events like beer pong, flip cup, cornhole, something called “hula-hoop keg toss” and more. There will even be opening and closing ceremonies. There are no qualifying events—anyone can enter the competition.

At then end of the games, the three winners will receive medals, which, according to Indy Star, also double as bottle openers. Once the individual games are finished, the breweries will also be competing in another round of games.

The beer fest will take place on May 5 from 12-5 p.m., with the games starting at 1 p.m. You can purchase tickets here for $30 each (or $10 for designated drivers).
