If you haven’t gotten something for you dad for Father’s Day yet, you still have a chance to go big for just $25—assuming your dad likes things like bourbon and free airplane tickets. Jim Beam is offering anyone quick enough to buy one, a practically all-inclusive trip for you and your dad to Louisville for Father’s Day weekend, June 15-17.
The Bonding Over Bourbon trip will be available on jimbeam.com and includes two roundtrip airplane tickets to Kentucky, two nights in a hotel in downtown Louisville, a behind-the-scenes tour of the Beam distillery, dinner for two, a round of golf, and a chance to meet Beam’s distiller Fred Noe, who remains one of the most important people in bourbon today. And it includes all of that for less than $25—a price Beam pegged to the cost of a bottle of its Jim Beam Black.
The trips go on sale at 10 a.m. this morning for anyone who is 21 and over, but the one catch is that there will be a very limited number of them available. Jim Beam didn’t say exactly how many Bonding Over Bourbon experiences they were making available, but chances are good they will sell out quickly, so get ready to log on and start clicking (pro tip from someone who has had to visit a lot of liquor websites: Go to the site now, put your age in and click the “remember me” box—that will save you a step later).
If you miss out, Jim Beam said it would be offering surprise additional trips up until Father’s Day through its social media channels on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. Of course if you aren’t quick enough on the draw with any of those, you can always just get your dad a nice bottle of bourbon. No father ever complained about that.
