Days after technical difficulties tragically botched her performance at the Grammy Awards (and her subsequent In-N-Out Burger run), Adele appeared on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" Wednesday to sit down for a candid interview. And in typical Ellen fashion, some hilarious shenanigans ensued; particularly, an elaborate prank on employees at a nearby Jamba Juice.
With Ellen in her ear, the superstar singer enters the smoothie shop and makes a series of ridiculous and bizarre requests of the unsuspecting employees, including whether she could have a large smoothy served in a small cup. The workers do their best to accommodate Adele -- because she's freaking Adele -- but things get weird when she takes out scissors Ellen packed in her handbag and cuts herself a fistful of wheat grass from over the counter. After several minutes of chewing the wheat grass and even sipping from a small bottle of amaretto, she mercifully ends the charade, much to the Jamba employees' relief.
"I thought you were crazy," one of the employees said. But um, hello, she's Adele. Who cares if she's crazy with a voice like that?
