Amazon Prime free trial crap out on you again? Maybe it's time to stop being saying you're a student, 7 years after graduation, and actually subscribe for good. Oh and look: there's a major Amazon Prime sale going on right now.

This weekend, Amazon is offering Amazon Prime subscriptions for just $73, a 27% discount off the regular $99 price. You get the same free two-day shipping, unlimited video streaming, and other perks of Prime status, but for $26 cheaper.

You'll only have till Sunday, January, 17, 2016 at 11:59 pm PT to claim your discount. Also, this offer is good for your first year only. Oh and don't freak out when you go to purchase and the price is still set at $99; the discount will be applied at checkout.

Now, if you've already bought an Amazon Prime account in the last couple weeks and are bummed because you missed out on this discount, there's hope. An Amazon Customer Service Rep confirmed that you can get that extra $26 you spent refunded. You'll just need to contact a rep and have your account details on hand.

So get on this. And get that flower power screwdriver, or whatever you order, sent at lightning speed.
