Believe it or not, there's actually a logical explanation for why your cat suddenly loses its damn mind and destroys shopping bags, curtains, and whatever else is in its path approximately once a day, or in the middle of the night while you're trying to sleep. In a new video from "Simon's Cat Logic," a cat behaviorist helps explain that your cat is probably not trying to drive you insane when you wake up to find him pouncing on your face -- he's just doing what nature intended.

Considering cats in the wild go on up to 40 hunting trips every day, it's no wonder that your domestic fur ball needs some "crazy time" to burn off excess energy, often darting all around your house or apartment. Basically, your cat's antics are as normal as they are hilarious, and you can help by playing along with toys, according to the video. And to think, people want to combine cats and caffeine in small spaces...
