As you may know firsthand, it's dangerously easy to singlehandedly wipe out an entire box of donuts. But despite your pro-level proclivity for pounding the sugary dough rings, you probably can't inhale them as fast as competitive eater Matt Stonie. And, well, that's probably a good thing.
In his latest video on YouTube, Stonie manages to eat a dozen Krispy Kreme glazed donuts in just 34 seconds, handily beating the previous record he claims was 45 seconds. Sure, the feat isn't nearly as impressive as that one time he ate a Taco Bell 12-pack in one minute, but you have to admit the dude makes the challenge look easy. That is, if you can stomach the fact that if each of the donuts are 190 calories, he ended up eating 67 calories per second. Well, damn.
Just last week, another competitive eater, Nela Zisser, ate a staggering 50 Krispy Kreme donuts in just 24 minutes and 29 seconds. We don't understand the sudden donut craze, but we're not mad. Anyway, both videos probably make you want to hit up your local donut shop, but we recommend not trying either of these stunts at home, folks.
