In a rare moment of extreme coolness, two of your most used apps are teaming up to give you something for free.

Facebook just launched an option that allows users to request an Uber while using its Messenger app. The best part about this is not the ease of Ubering, but the FREE RIDE. For a limited time, when you use Messenger to request an Uber, you'll get a free ride worth up to $20. You'll just need to link your current Uber account with Messenger or set up a new account via Messenger to claim it.

Sadly, like all good things, there's a catch. The Uber option is currently only being tested, which means it will only be available to select Messenger users in cities where Uber functions.

Take a look at how the new Uber request option will work below. And hopefully you'll get lucky with the chance to snag this free Uber deal. Hopefully you'll get lucky just with life as well.
