This Company Wants to Pay You $1,000 to Binge-Watch Disney Dog Movies
Space out to the voice of an anthropomorphic dog, for $$.
It's never been a better time to sit. Maybe blink. Maybe go to a Netflix party. Sitting and blinking and watching has become our fulltime job, for which we do not yet get paid. But now these tedious efforts may finally be rewarded, because a company wants to pay someone $1,000 to binge-watch ten Disney dog movies.
TakeSpruce, a natural CBD company, is looking for someone to plow through dog movies and write a little bit about each one. The job is inspired by National Pet Month, which couldn't come at a better time. Due to lockdown, dog adoptions are significantly higher than in February, when Coors Light was basically bribing folks to adopt puppies.
Applications are open now until May 29th, 2020, and TakeSpruce will announce the winner on June 12. To apply, just go to the application on the website, provide a little personal information, and explain why you're the human for the job. FYI, the company is clearly looking for someone who loves dogs, not just someone who loves to be horizontal, so try to channel canine enthusiasm throughout. It also seems like the company is looking for someone who is a bit of a social media fanatic, so people who post too many photos of their dogs should jump on the opportunity and keep being themselves.
Here's the list of 15 film choices you'll be given if selected. You must choose 10 to watch. (For some you can choose between the original, the remake, or a live-action version of an animated film):

After each movie, you'll fill out a Google form explaining why you chose it, information about plot and characters, and some profound insights on what you've watched (it couldn't hurt to take some CBD, or CBD-containing something, before beginning this film journey).
