Tinder's Latest Update Will Definitely Make Tinder More Annoying

Since you've already mastered sending hilarious GIFs via Slack and those annoyingly long email threads at work, it was really only a matter of time before your skills translated to your dating life, too. Well, that time is now, thanks to a new update that brings millions of GIFs to messaging on Tinder.

The feature, which arrived in an update to Tinder's iOS app on Wednesday, is the result of the dating app's new partnership with Giphy. Once you're updated, you'll find a little blue "GIF" button parked to the left of the message composing box, which when tapped, allows you to search for a GIF for all those times when words just don't cut it. After all, how else are you supposed to respond when they finally ask you to meet IRL without this GIF (or, in some cases, this one)? And you certainly shouldn't be starting a new conversation with just "hey."

As for emoji, the update will make them appear much larger in your Tinder messages moving forward. Additional new features include the option to "like" messages you receive and the ability to upload a photo to your profile from your phone's cameral roll. Basically, it's a whole game, guys, and one where you'll even be judged by the GIFs you send. Good luck.
