"Honest" Trailer Reveals the Truth Behind 'Pokémon Go'
If you watched the Pokémon Go trailer and felt a little like the massive MewTwo battle in Times Square has oversold what you got, you're not alone (even if there have been crazy massive flash mobs). The new "honest trailer" for Pokémon Go from Smoosh Games tries to tell it like it is.
The revamped trailer implores users to "be a part of the trend more annoying than people who take vaping seriously" by playing a groundbreaking game that is a "combination of mild cardio, Google Maps, and Paper Toss." It touts the game's "photorealistic graphics," which are also known as humans, and a ruthless "permadeath system."
It's savage, but pretty spot on. Watch the "honest trailer" above, then get into Pokémon Go's "color-based turf warfare" before "old people ruin it." And if old people don't ruin (no more Pokémon jokes, please, Mrs. Clinton), the countless hacks probably will.
