They may be orbiting 249 miles above Earth, but that won't stop astronauts from celebrating Thanksgiving aboard the International Space Station. In a new video from NASA, Expedition 45 Commander Scott Kelly and Flight Engineer Kjell Lindgren wished everyone a happy Thanksgiving down on Earth, and even revealed what a Thanksgiving dinner in space looks like.

Needless to say, their airtight packaged meal of smoked turkey, candied yams, rehydratable corn, and potatoes au gratin will make you thankful for your home-cooked feast here on earth. But at least the astronauts have the day off, which Kelly said they'll spend watching football -- just like the rest of us.
