Everyone knows that Gordon Ramsay isn't exactly a model of restraint. And yet, when the famously foul-mouthed chef appeared on the Tonight Show show last night, host Jimmy Fallon somehow convinced him to at least try not to curse during the short interview. Let's just say it didn't last for very long.
In fact, Fallon takes a moment about 30 seconds into the clip to thank Ramsay for actually exercising a tiny bit of restraint by saying "bloody" instead of "fucking," when Ramsay blurts out, "It's fucking hard!" The highly unsurprising slip (if you can even call it that) lands Ramsay, wearing a leg brace after a recent surgery, on what Fallon calls the "naughty step."
"That's it! You're in trouble!" Fallon says in a feigned fit of rage and a British accent. "Go sit on the naughty step! Go sit on the naughty step! Go sit on the naughty step for five minutes and when you realize what you've done, then we'll finish the interview!"
The incident is perhaps the only Gordon Ramsay meltdown that ended with laughs instead of, you know, a four-course meal of public humiliation and tears.
