High school and college seniors aren't going to get the traditional graduation experience, but that doesn't mean you've gotta nix the celebration altogether. It just means you've gotta throw your own ceremony, which I'll say has its perks. Toss your cap, hand yourself the diploma, and skip straight to the afterparty -- Krispy Kreme will supply the grub.

On Tuesday, May 19, the sugary dough ring maker is giving away a free graduate dozen to any high school or college senior that stops by in "Class of 2020" swag or the full cap and gown. There's not even a purchase minimum. Krispy Kreme just knows you deserve the extra sweets.

"We feel for all of the high school and college seniors. We wish they had that moment of walking across the stage and getting their diploma," chief marketing officer Dave Skena said in a statement to Thrillist. "We can’t replace that... but we thought we could help them safely have a little fun and enjoy a special ‘Graduate Dozen’ on us. Moms, dads, friends and family can buy this ‘Graduate Dozen’ all week long to honor their favorite graduates, but only seniors can get one for free."

The graduate dozen features four different donuts: creme-filled with chocolate icing, creme-filled with strawberry icing, cake batter filled, and original glazed with yellow icing. But just because you aren't graduating, doesn't mean you can't get your sweet tooth on the 2020-themed donuts. Between May 18 and May 24, customers can purchase the dozen via drive-thru or by ordering through the Krispy Kreme website or mobile app for pickup and delivery.
