Lin-Manuel Miranda and Broadway Stars Do Loudest 'Carpool Karaoke' Yet

James Corden is set to host the Tony Awards on Sunday, so it was only appropriate that he kick off the week on The Late Late Show with a "Carpool Karaoke" featuring some Broadway heavyweights, including Hamilton scribe and star Lin-Manuel Miranda, Audra McDonald, Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Jane Krakowski in what might be the loudest installment of the sing-along series.

Miranda and Corden kick it off with "Alexander Hamilton" and "Guns and Ships" from Hamilton. Corden even does a pretty spot on job with a rap in the latter.

Then they pick up the rest of the team and launch into a Broadway medley that starts with "Seasons of Love" and lands in a loveably chaotic rendition of "One Day More" from Les Miserables.

Corden will be hosting the Tonys on Sunday, and Miranda gets spotlighted here because his Hamilton earned a record-setting 16 nominations (on top of the Pulitzer Prize he already won). Because it garnered multiple nominations in two categories, it's plausible that it won't set the record for most Tony wins, currently held by The Producers, which won 12 Tonys on 15 nominations.
