Depending on what fruit and toppings you add, homemade yogurt parfaits can be easy, somewhat low on calories, and loaded with plenty of protein for a quick breakfast or snack. However, it's probably safe to say that eating a yogurt parfait the size of a small child is, well, less than good for you, but that's exactly what Matt Stonie does in his latest video on YouTube. Somehow.
Watch as the well-known competitive eater, who you may know from that time he pounded 10 McDonald's Quarter Pounders with cheese, a milkshake, and a large Diet Coke in one sitting, miraculously manages to scarf down a massive yogurt parfait that's easily two feet tall. Using nothing but a large spoon (and his insane appetite), he eats through layer after layer of yogurt, fruit, and granola before reaching -- and clearing -- the bottom of the giant glass in just under 18 minutes. And while most people would probably collapse after eating about a third of the thing, Stonie simply pats his visibly enlarged stomach and says "oh boy" shortly after eating the whole thing.
As you can imagine, the colossal parfait's nutritional info is equally insane. Stonie claims the entire parfait contains a staggering 6,455 calories, 1,065g of carbohydrates, 237g of protein, and 132g of fat. Obviously, you don't need a calculator to know that's an absurd amount of calories, carbs, fat, and protein to eat in one sitting. But if that was his breakfast or snack, just imagine what he ended up eating later for dinner.
