McDonald's has decided to go the — as the kids say — classy AF route by testing out table service in select California locations. According to the LA Business Journal, over 600 Southern California locations are rolling out the option, alongside new “TasteCrafted" menu offerings. Patrons have the choice to pair their beef or buttermilk (!!!) chicken with a roll of their choosing, which is then delivered to their table by an employee.
When will this option to available to the non-Californian masses who have to settle for that long walk from the counter to the booth? First We Feast reports that a McDonald’s spokesperson says it's “too early to tell whether the menu would be offered in McDonald’s stores nationwide.”
After planning the transition to using cage-free eggs and making Egg McMuffins available all day, McDonald's seems to be amping up their A-game. But until we've got table service all over the nation, the walk of shame shall continue.
