James Corden aka Tirmasu landed his biggest guest yet for the new installment of "Carpool Karaoke." He's joined by First Lady Michelle Obama, who cruises around the White House grounds with Corden singing Stevie Wonder (who has done "Carpool Karaoke" before), Beyoncé, and the Mrs. Obama-organized charity single "This Is For My Girls."
The First Lady charmed, cracking a few jokes and even managed to ignore the always ridiculous conceit of the segment, that supposes that Corden is surprised by the situation. Mrs. Obama, who was there to promote her Let Girls Learn project, says that this is only the second time in the last seven-and-a-half years she's been in the passenger seat of a car. It's believable because she commits to the sing along like she's missed being alone in cars with the windows up.
As the ride goes on, they're joined by Missy Elliott as a surprise guest to sing her part from "This Is For My Girls." They follow that up by doing Elliott's "Get Ur Freak On." It's a fun segment and proved to be a nice counterpoint to the mustard-stealing hijinx at the RNC early in the night.
