While you usually post Instagram photos of giant fried chicken sandwiches, perfectly lit seafood dishes, and other stunning food shots just for the double-digit likes, there's a chance you can get a job doing exactly that -- while traveling the world and eating at some of its best restaurants -- and for real money, not just likes.
The Netflix original show Chef's Table is looking to hire an official Instagrammer to travel across the globe, meet award-winning chefs, take pictures of their delicious food, and of course, eat said delicious food. If chosen, you'll be asked to visit six restaurants in places like Mexico, Thailand, and Brazil (among others) and document your experiences there to help promote the show. And in addition to traveling and eating at top-rated restaurants for free, you'll also get paid for your work (if you can even call it work); however, your exact compensation will be determined if and when you're chosen.
But... there's just one enormous and unfortunate catch: In order to be eligible for the role, you must be a legal resident of Japan, Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, India or South East Asia. You also have to be at least 21, own a device that supports the Instagram app, and make sure your Instagram account is not set to "private" when you submit your application. But yeah, it seems like Americans were already given a shot at an Instagram dream job back in March.
