While you might consider garlic knots as mere accessories to your delivery pizza, the brilliant maniacs over at Pizza Hut are once again tossing convention out the pickup window by baking the buttery appetizers right into the main course -- the freaking pizza crust to be exact. In other words, they're making it even easier to cram it all into your mouth without skipping a beat. Challenge accepted.
The red-roofed pizza chain announced the new, limited-edition Stuffed Garlic Knots Pizza in a press release Monday, describing it as, "16 hand-rolled cheese-stuffed garlic knots on the crust of a large pizza, served with one topping and two dipping cups of marinara sauce." Additionally, the company thinks of the new pizza as "original food innovation," but with all that cheese, garlic, and sauce, you can probably just call it "duh." The price tag for the monstrosity is $12.99.
But garlic knots aren't the only delicious finger foods colliding with Pizza Hut crusts. As reported by Brand Eating, the company's New Zealand outposts recently offered a pizza with a crust stuffed with freaking tater tots. Unfortunately, there's so indication that particular pie will land here in the US, but there could be some hope for us, considering the eventual roll out of that crazy hot dog-stuffed pizza here last summer. Or, you can always just continue to eat these things separately... like a normal person.
