You really can't say you saw this coming, but Pepsi is making an Android smartphone.
Mashable reports that the Pepsi P1 will cost around $205, come with a a 5.5-inch 1080p display, 1.7GHz processor, 16GB of internal storage, 2GB of RAM, have a 13-megapixel camera on the back and 5-megapixel camera on the front.
This might be the most surprising move from a big soda company since Dr Pepper's ill-fated medical drama, Benjamin Pepper, M.D. [Ed. note: This is not a real TV show]

This leaked image shows a rather harmless-looking phone emblazoned with the Pepsi logo and trademark red, white, and blue letters.
Strange move for the soda company? Perhaps. But, I guess we'll get some more information on why Pepsi decided to move in this direction when the phone is released on October 20.
No news yet on whether or not people will be able to drink the phone.
