As if you weren't already on the verge of a crippling Pokémon Go addiction (admit it, Mr. Level 15!), the company behind the ridiculously popular game has promised new features that might make it even better. And, uh, probably even more addictive.
John Hanke, CEO of the game's developer, Niantic, recently told Business Insider that players can expect big new features in the coming weeks and months such as the ability to trade your Pokémon -- just like you did with the original Game Boy games. Although the exec didn't get into exact details on how trading might work or when it'll arrive, he went so far as describing it as "kind of a core element" of the game. Let's just hope you're not gullible enough to part with your Charizard this time.
Hanke also promised better augmented reality and other gameplay improvements, especially when it comes to Pokéstops and gyms, according to the report. In other words, prepare to spend even more time on your quest to catch 'em all. Good luck.
