'Pokémon Go' Gets Bonkers When You Hit Level 30

Despite how many hours you've spent playing Pokémon Go when you should have been working, cleaning your apartment, and paying attention to the real world amid your search for Pikachu, there's a good chance you've still only scratched the surface of the wildly popular game. At least one person, however, has already made it level 30, and it looks insane. And hard.

As explained in a report by Mashable, an avid Pokémon Go player in California took to Reddit on Sunday to reveal what it's like to reach the ridiculously high level, including the rewards they received, the strength of their Pokémon, and some pointers on how you can get there, too. Well, at least eventually. Yes, someone has already hit level 30 in the less than two weeks since the game launched.

Interestingly, this particular player still hasn't encountered any legendary Pokémon or unlocked the ultra-powerful Master Balls, despite all their progress, per the report. But here are a few things you can expect when you get to level 30 (someday):

You earn a crapload of rewards

You get some badass Pokémon

It takes an insane amount of xp points to hit level 31

It'll probably cost you

Pokémon become increasingly hard to catch...

... to the point where it's not even worth trying

Everyone will want to know your secrets

This is all to say, challenge accepted. In the meantime, be sure to check out the full Reddit thread.
