President Obama Yuks It Up on Stephen Colbert's post-Super Bowl Show

While you were enjoying a nice victory beer (or drinking away your loss) and mopping up leftover queso dip after the Super Bowl, Stephen Colbert continued CBS's seemingly endless Super Bowl 50 coverage last night with a surprise guest appearance by none other than America's football fan-in-chief, President Barack Obama.

As seen in the clip above, Colbert introduces the president by tossing a football to someone allegedly offscreen in the "Late Show" audience, pointing and saying, "you in the back, the tall guy with really big ears." The ball flies out of the frame and President Obama catches it an entirely different shot... at the White House. Although Colbert suggested the appearance was live at first, Obama himself comes clean and reveals the interview was in fact shot last week.

Things get particularly funny when Obama somehow correctly states that the Denver Broncos won the Super Bowl, to Colbert's astonishment. As Obama explains, "Stephen, I am the president -- and it turns out all the Super Bowl winners for the next 50 years are written on the back of the Constitution. That’s the plot of National Treasure 3.” Check out the video for the rest of the funny interaction, including an appearance by the First Lady.
