Cats are real jerks. That is, according to Reddit.
Reddit user thetoethumb recently analyzed posts on the aptly named subreddit, Animals Being Jerks, to determine which animal is a jerk most often. The user took into account the first 500 posts on the page and the stats looked like this:

Now, given that whales, squirrels, and fish typically don't live in the house with humans, the data is likely biased against cats and dogs. After all, there's just more opportunity for a house pet to act like a jerk towards its owner, given the sheer greater volume of interaction. However, when comparing the two most common house pets, cats and dogs, cats run away with being jerks. Plus, they can't be trusted. Case in point: Sassy the cat in Homeward Bound,
who was kind of a jerk during most of that movie.
So, score one for the dog people. Also, how did pillow get on the list?! Do people think pillows are animals?
