A Carolina Panther Put His Apartment on Airbnb for Super Bowl Sunday

Even if your buddy's place promises five kinds of dip, surround-sound, and bean bag chairs, watching the game from an actual Carolina Panthers player's couch is cooler. Even if you're not a Panthers fan.

Roman Harper, a safety for the Carolina Panthers, put his apartment up on Airbnb for Super Bowl Sunday, explaining in the description that he'll be busy "playing the Denver Broncos at Super Bowl 50." Nice of him not to say he'll be "crushing the Denver Broncos at Super Bowl 50."

An Airbnb rep confirmed that, yes, this is real. While Harper's in Santa Clara, California, he's renting out his one-bedroom, two-bath Charlotte apartment for the hefty price tag of $5,000. Amenities include a 24-hour concierge staff, basketball and tennis courts, a junior Olympic pool, and an HDTV screening room with surround-sound. In addition, all proceeds go to Harper's Hope 41 Foundation and you get a signed football.

Now, it says, "No parties" in the listing, and to ensure that things stay relatively calm even during the worst penalty calls, a maximum of two guests are allowed to stay. Other house rules mandate there be "No football practice in the hallways" and "No cleats on the hardwood." Man, Harper's starting to sound just like a mom. Also, "No pets (especially Broncos)." Not sure if that ban includes Broncos' fans. Might be a good idea to keep the enemy out, just to be safe.

For all the terms and conditions and a full list of amenities, check out the listing here. Also, browse through photos of the place below. It looks pretty nice, hough, the Panthers helmets on the entertainment center are a bit much.
