Just weeks after rosé-infused gummy bears launched to a near-instant waitlist of more than 500 people, it looks like there's yet another new way to consume copious amounts of the summer's best pink drink: rosé chocolate bars. And yes, they're made with real rosé wine.
The beautiful, boozy chocolate flavor is called "Roses and Rosé" and it's the latest creation from Los Angeles-based chocolate company Compartes, according to a report by Food & Wine. Each bar is made with the company's signature white chocolate, edible crystalized rose petals, and most importantly, French rosé. Perhaps unsurprisingly, each bar of the high-end chocolate will set you back 10 bucks.
Although the rosé chocolate bars aren't available in most stores, Compartes is currently offering them via its online store, which makes them much easier to get your hands on than the aforementioned rosé gummy bears (and the insane waiting list, of course). And while you've probably had no problems drinking gallons of rosé so far this summer, eating chocolate is certainly a different way of doing it. But then again, you might have to enjoy sweet rosé over the dry kind.
