Samuel L. Jackson's Sweary 'Game of Thrones' Explainer Is F*cking Great

If the phrase "winter is coming" and fragmented summaries of violence, gore, and traumatic sex is all you know about Game of Thrones, don't worry -- we won't judge you. Also, Samuel L. Jackson is here to help you catch up on the first five seasons of the HBO hit show with a spectacular, expletive-filled recap video, and it's pretty damn great. Even for diehard fans.

In the nearly 8-minute clip, Jackson helpfully explains the long series of events, plot twists, characters, and politics leading up to the sixth (and most recent) season of the show, as only Samuel L. Jackson can. Let's just say the first of many instances of "motherfucker" is used to describe Jaime Lannister, which as you'll come to learn, is fitting. Don't even get him started on the dragons. Oh, and did we mention he swears a lot?

And as with any recap, this one is full of spoilers, folks. Or as they say in Westeros, "spoilers are coming." Or something like that.
