Shake Shack Just Shared a Super-Cheesy Burger Pasta Recipe
Think of it as a hands-free ShackBurger.
This pandemic, Shake Shack was one of the first chains to introduce make-it-yourself cheeseburger kits. And now the fast-casual chain is pushing its DIY movement even further, by releasing a pasta recipe that incorporates all the meaty, cheesy, tummy-challenging things we love about the restaurant.
Shake Shack announced in a tweet Monday that its culinary director Mark Rosati just went "off-menu," and created an apparently-not-plagiarized ShackBurger Helper -- a nod to General Mills' beloved packaged pasta. It's basically a lot of cheese, cream, and flavoring. Here's the list of ingredients:
- Canola Oil
- Spanish Onion
- Minced Garlic
- Ground Beef
- White Wine
- Smoked Paprika
- Chipotle Hot Sauce
- Heavy Cream
- Chicken Stock
- Bay Leaf
- American Cheese
- Cheddar Cheese
- Elbow Pasta
There are a lot of really great things about this recipe, and as the owner of only one pot and one pan, I'm delighted that you only need these two vessels to create the whole thing. Here are the instructions:
