With just weeks left until Star Wars: The Force Awakens is finally released in theaters, the director of the highly anticipated film has shared a glimpse of what the cast could have looked like. Well, sort of.
On last night's "Saturday Night Live," J.J. Abrams revealed a collection of "never before seen" screen tests from the early days of casting, including auditions from the likes of Jon Hamm, Emma Stone, Michael Buble, Javier Bardem (SNL's Beck Bennett), Sofia Vergara (SNL's Cecily Strong), and several other celebrity impressions -- all alongside actual stars from the film, John Boyega and Daisy Ridley. Needless to say, "Hamm Solo" didn't make the cut. Unfortunately.
Oh, and don't miss the signature J.J. Abrams lens flare at the beginning of the clip.
