It's only been a day since Starbucks declared the start of the holiday season with the rollout of its signature holiday drinks and, of course, those festive red cups. But now, the coffee giant has announced an all-new addition to its holiday menu, and it's a seasonal take on the much-hyped Flat White espresso drink it introduced early this year.
Starbucks is fittingly calling it the Holiday Spice Flat White. The new drink is made with two ristretto (shorter) shots of the company's Christmas Blend Espresso Roast, and notably, a blend of mulling spices -- ground sugar, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, clove, and a dash of tangerine sugar. It all sort of sounds like a chai latte, but for someone who prefers espresso over tea. Fancy.
But if the new, spiced up Flat White sounds like the holiday drink you need this winter, you're going to have to wait -- it doesn't launch until November 30th, according to Starbucks. Is this the new flavor of "the holidays"? You'll have to wait until the end of the month to find out.
