Taco Bell Is Making a Cheetos-Stuffed Burrito & All-New 'Walking Nachos'

Taco Bell

In the last six months alone, Taco Bell has unleashed the much-hyped Quesalupa, a resurrected Beefy Crunch Burrito, a stupidly huge "Triple Double" Crunchwrap, and a new lineup of breakfast menu items, among other items. With that said, it should come as no surprise that the fast food chain has two more crazy creations up its Fire Sauce-stained sleeves this year: a Cheetos Burrito and Walking Nachos

Taco Bell will begin testing the new Cheetos Burrito at its Cincinnati, OH stores next month for just $1, according to a report by NBC News. As its name suggests, the new burrito is made with T-Bell's classic seasoned beef, rice, cheese sauce, and of course, a bunch of puffy Cheetos. Believe it or not, the junk food-burrito hybrid is the second fast food menu item with Cheetos to emerge this summer, following Burger King's recent Mac N' Cheetos. So far, we're unsure to if this milestone is amazing or, well, terrifying. But probably the former.

In addition to the Cheetos-stuffed burrito, Taco Bell also plans to test all-new portable nachos called Walking Nachos, according to a report by Brand Eating. Sort of like a Frito Pies, the nachos come served in a bag designed for easy eating on the go, like when you need a late night snack. Taco Bell even created bite-sized tortilla chips that are easy to scoop up with a spoon or a fork. They come served with seasoned beef, nacho cheese, shredded cheese, pico de gallo, guacamole, and sour cream.

The test will being in mid-August at Taco Bell's Charlotte, N.C. locations, per the report. Brand Eating also shared a few photos of the nachos via Instagram:

With any luck, both of the new test items will make their way to T-Bell's permanent menu. But even if they don't, it's probably more than safe to say they've got plenty of other insane creations in the nacho cheese-fueled pipeline.
