Oreos have come a long way since they were introduced more than 100 years ago, recently appearing in flavors like brownie batter, s'mores, and even cinnamon bun. But now the ubiquitous milk accessories are hitting grocery stores in a whole new form: churros.
Dubbed as Oreo Churros Creme Filled Bites, the bite-sized cookie-Spanish donut hybrids appear to be the little brother to the fabled Oreo Churros that we told you about last year, which were sadly sold exclusively through food services at arenas, convenience stores, and quick-service restaurants. But now, you can find the same thing in a grab-and-go size from a frozen food section near you, according to a press release from J & J Snack Foods. Judging by the box alone, these things will make the original Oreos obsolete, and obsolete probably tastes like red velvet.
Additionally, the company is rolling out new 10in creme-filled churros to join the existing varieties sold at stadiums. But that's not important. The crucial news here is that you can get Oreo Churros right now and destroy the whole box of 'em in the privacy of your home.
