The final Suicide Squad trailer has arrived, and while it features some new footage of The Joker (Jared Leto) and Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie), the stars of it are Amanda Waller (Viola Davis), the government agent in charge of the villainous super team, and Rick Flag (Joel Kinnaman), the soldier tasked with leading them.
Again set to Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody," the trailer teases that Waller may be the film's true villain. She plays the puppetmaster that puts the Suicide Squad's team of villains on the streets to work for the government. "Getting people to act against their own self-interest," she says, "is what I do for a living."
That's aided by a look at the "moving portrait" bios the studio released on Twitter Monday. Waller is seen there firing an automatic weapon and generally looking much more ruthless than you'd believe any Davis character to be. Though, it could just be behind-the-scenes footage of what working with Leto for an extended period of time might do to a person.
