Burger King Is Making Giant Whopper Burritos Now
Although the Whopper has undergone a few changes since Burger King first introduced it in the '50s, the fast food giant's signature cheeseburger has remained mostly the same over the years. But now, it looks like Burger King is making Whoppers unlike any you've ever inhaled during a late-night fast food binge, and, we're not talking about the bizarre new Whopper-style hot dogs.
As first reported by GrubGrade, Burger King is testing an all-new Whopper burrito, aptly called the Whopperrito, at its restaurants in Hermitage, PA, and potentially more locations throughout the state. As you may have guessed at this point, the burrito is made with your typical Whopper ingredients -- hamburger beef, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, mayo, pickles, onions, and ketchup -- all wrapped up in a flour tortilla. It's almost as if Burger King took Taco Bell's old "Think outside the bun" slogan a little too seriously.
So far, there aren't any good pictures of the insane burger-burrito hybrid on social media, but GrubGrade managed to get a photo of a promotional poster that appears to show the new menu item:

When reached by phone on Sunday, employees at two different Burger King restaurants in Hermitage confirmed they are offering the Whopperrito, but it's currently unclear if the new menu item will get a wider release. We also reached out to a spokesperson at Burger King corporate for more information and will update this story when they respond.
Anyway, if you're throwing a bunch of burger ingredients into a tortilla and calling it a burrito, you might as well throw some fries in there, too, while you're at it.
