The World’s Slowest Rube Goldberg Machine Takes 6 Weeks To Complete

Published On 10/28/2015 Published On 10/28/2015

One of the greatest joys of watching a Rube Goldberg machine perform a simple task is the speed of the deliberately over-engineered contraption. Well, there's absolutely no speed to speak of in this aptly titled video, World's Slowest Rube Goldberg

By utilizing an extremely slow-moving stream of molasses, harnessing the melting power of popsicles, and using an actual turtle, this Rube Goldberg machine takes six weeks, three days, seven hours, and two minutes to complete.

We highly suggest sticking around until the end. Don't worry, it's all time-lapsed.
