Now There's a Dating Site Just for People Who Use Reddit a Lot
Imagine you're part of an online community where all your interests, beliefs, jokes, and hobbies are in full view of the people of that community and you can see a large portion of those people naked, too. Welcome to Reddit: the front page of the Internet (their words, not ours.) A Redditor recently put two and two together and created Redddate.com, a dating site for Reddit users. The site matches users based on their geographical location and the subreddits both parties subscribe to.
People can then move in on their new potential babes and beaus based on mutual interests and how active they are in the spacedicks community. As is the style of Internet-savvy lovelorn humans, there's already a subreddit dedicated to unraveling the mysteries behind Redddate, along with suggestions on how to make the site even better. Dare we suggest an easier way to cross-reference their involvement with [Ed. note: this link is NSFW] r/gonewild?
As opposed to popular sites and apps like OkCupid and Tinder, there are a million inside jokes and ice-breakers already built in to the Reddit-based dating site. For example: "Would you rather fight one horse-sized duck, or a hundred duck-sized horses?"
