We Found the Best Mother's Day Song of All Time

This week's episode of Thrillist's Best Podcast is dedicated to moms.

In this very special episode of Thrillist's Best Podcast  -- listen and subscribe here!  -- we're celebrating that special lady in our lives: mom.

A couple weeks ago, we sent out an open call for musicians to submit a song about Mother's Day in an effort to crown an "official" Mother's Day anthem. (Picture the Monster Mash, but for moms). Our producers sifted through hundreds of submissions (thanks to all who sent something in!) and sussed out a handful of contenders. I sat down with my own mom to try and pick the one song that spoke to us the most (spoiler alert: the songs were really good; this was really hard).

Also in this episode, I'm joined by Entertainment Staff Writer Emma Stefanksy to talk about our favorite moms in film history (much to my own chagrin, Nathan Lane from the Birdcage was disqualified).

It's a true celebration of motherhood -- listen with your Mom for full effect!
